As of March 2021, it is India’s largest cloud kitchen restaurant chain, with more than 350 locations. Sequoia Capital, Coatue Management, Goldman Sachs, Gojek, and Travis Kalanick are among the company’s investors.
Rebel Foods is allegedly close to closing a $200 million investment round at a $2 billion valuation after facilitating the development of US fast food giant Wendy’s in India with its cloud kitchen strategy. With the upcoming phase, the firm, which got $26.499 million in its Series E funding round from US-based hedge fund Coatue Management, plans to grow its portfolio of cloud kitchen brands in India and beyond.
