Job Description
A career in our Merger and Acquisition Tax practice, within Tax services, will provide you with the opportunity to help our clients meet and manage their tax obligations across unique but ever changing tax specialties. You’ll advise clients on their local and overseas tax affairs, while acting as a strategic consultant related to business analysis, managing indirect taxes, dispute resolution, and global enterprise tax solutions.
Our team helps our clients with various aspects of a merger and acquisition transactions such as restructuring, divestiture, partnerships and insolvency. You’ll focus on helping clients establish treasury goals, analyse and quantify tax assets, assess tax risks, and model taxable income and cash flow impacts.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assisting the team in extraction of case laws as and when required.
- Assisting the team in coordinating with the lawyers and external consultants.
- Supporting the team in the research work for fetching relevant information w.r.t financials etc. and preparing presentations while pitching for prospective clients.
- Frequently following up with the leaders to coordinate with the debtors.
- Preparing memos, advises, general communication pertaining to the tax office/ courts.
- Supporting the team on compliance and risk management related work.
Requirements
- Commerce or relevant stream graduate with at least 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Basic knowledge of Tax & Accounts
- Other prerequisite skills include:
- Demonstrating a proactive and robust thought process
- Meticulous and committed attitude
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Basic skillset working on MS office
