About PhonePe
With its headquarters located in Bangalore, India, PhonePe is an Indian digital wallet and e-commerce payment system provider. Burzin Engineer, Rahul Chari, and Sameer Nigam launched it in December 2015. The first payment app developed on a unified payments interface was the PhonePe app, which launched in August 2016.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Examine the effects of changing privacy laws, rules, and best practices on our company by conducting research and keeping an eye on them.
- Assist the privacy team in creating, putting into practice, and upholding privacy rules and guidelines.
- Support the creation of documentation for frameworks, privacy evaluations, data mapping, audits, etc.
- Provide training materials on privacy
- Examine privacy issues connected to company operations and data processing, and offer suggestions for reducing such risks.
- Work with the privacy team to conduct impact assessments on data privacy.
- Examine privacy policies in negotiations with other parties
- Work together on privacy-related issues with different cross-functional stakeholders and give the privacy team general support.
