About the Internship
From Day 1 of our internship program, you can obtain first-hand, real-world experience with cutting-edge analytical tools and technologies. In addition to working with enthusiastic cross-functional teams, you will receive daily mentoring from our IT and data science experts as well as formal training.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Either the embedded data scientist team will handle eCommerce and consumer issues while being closely associated with a brand, or the central data scientist team will handle retail and media analytics issues that are common to all companies.
- Real-world tasks and duties will be assigned to you from day one. You will be expected to comprehend company goals and produce significant insights by examining point-of-sale, geospatial, product & supply, DTC, CRM, TV media, internet search, and other datasets from over ten countries in the region.
- You will develop, verify, test, and implement data science models, such as machine learning, into our IT systems.
Qualifications
- We seek leaders with a solid academic record.
- Proven use of econometrics, statistical modeling, or machine learning during an internship or course. Experience with Kaggle or other data analytics competitions is advantageous, as is having a personal Git repository.
- Enjoy solving real-world issues with Python, SQL, and other scripting/programming languages. It is preferred to have knowledge of Spark and the big data ecosystem.
- Outstanding communication skills, both in writing and speaking, to persuade people to act.
- At ease working across functional boundaries with individuals from various backgrounds, roles, and experiences.
- Leadership in extra-curricular activities.
- Have a can-do attitude and strong thinking/problem-solving abilities that can be applied to business procedures.
- Demonstrated capacity to manage several priorities.
