Falguni Nayar launched Nykaa, an Indian lifestyle retailer of beauty, wellness, and fashion products, in 2012. The company transitioned from an online-only to an omnichannel model in 2015, and began selling things other than beauty. It retails over 2,000 brands and 200,000 products on its platforms in 2020.
Nykaa offers a variety of ecommerce channels, including websites and mobile apps, as well as 76 physical locations. It is a unicorn startup with a valuation of Rs.85 billion (US$1.2 billion) as of 2020.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Tracking and maintaining a record of expenses and invoices for the PR function
2. Coordinating with the finance team and the agency on payment
3. Working on first cut research data – required for every launch – pre, and post
4. Handling product delivery requests for media and influencers (approximately 100 every month)
5. Tracking activities in real-time and updating the team
6. Fine-tuning the PR reports and then sharing them with the manager and then the HOD
7. Assisting on-ground for events and activities
8. Assisting in instore events
