About SINE, IIT Bombay
At IIT Bombay, the Society for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (SINE) serves as an umbrella group for promoting tech start-ups and entrepreneurship. It manages a business incubator that turns research activities into company enterprises and offers “start to scale” support for technology-based entrepreneurship.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist the project team in carrying out government initiatives
- Work together with vendors, mentors, incubation facilities, entrepreneurs, and other interested parties.
- Participate in end-to-end program administration tasks
- Help with documentation, data compilation, and report writing
- Help with the planning of review meetings, seminars, demo days, and startup events
- Assist in overseeing financial monitoring, reporting, and administrative duties
- Arrange for stakeholders to receive regular updates and communications
- Any additional duties pertaining to the project that the manager assigns
