About IIT Bombay
The Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay (IITB) is one of the country’s fifteen higher institutions of technology, established with the goal of providing higher education, research, and training opportunities in many disciplines of science and technology.
The Joint Entrance Examination – Advanced and Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is used to admit students to IIT Bombay’s 4 year, 5 year, and 2 year programmes. Bachelor of Technology, four-year Bachelor of Science, five-year Master of Science, two- or three-year Master of Technology, and a few more degrees are available. It also provides a comprehensive graduate programme in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics that leads to doctorate degrees. There are now 15 academic departments, 20 centres, a school of excellence, and four multidisciplinary programmes, including a Management Program, within the university.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Work with teams to develop new features, upgrades, and fixes that will help us handle our current and future size.
- Create code that is reusable, testable, and efficient.
- Develop, optimize, and scale our platform and apps
- From the design prototype, architect, develop, and build low-latency, high-availability, and performant applications.
- Make security apps and data protection a priority.
- Ensure excellent performance by integrating RESTful APIs and internal web services.
- Collaborate with people from other teams and contribute to open source
- Troubleshoot production problems and put remedies in place.
- Become familiar with new technology and teach them to others.

This is a Work from Home internship opportunity.
Duration
The IIT Bombay internship will be for a period of 6 months.

Stipend: Rs.2,000 – 5,000 / month
