Ageas Federal Life Insurance Co Ltd, originally known as IDBI Federal Life Insurance Co Ltd, is a Belgian international insurance firm with offices in both Brussels and Antwerp. Ageas is Belgium’s largest insurance company, with operations in 14 countries around the world. In April 2010, the firm was renamed Fortis Holding, and it now comprises of the insurance activities that remained after the financial services conglomerate Fortis was broken up and sold during the financial crisis of 2007-2010.
IDBI Federal Life Insurance Company Limited is a three-way joint-venture between IDBI Bank, an Indian development and commercial bank, Federal Bank, one of India’s top (peacock term) private sector banks, and Ageas, a European international insurance behemoth.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in the continuing development of the business uptake – assist in the formulation of new ideas to add value to the present client portfolio and maximise external revenue.
- Establish and meet performance goals using a more systematic planning framework that combines budgeting devolved to technical and service groups with good financial management.
- Take advantage of events that give a third source of money and encourage contact with company and clients.
- Form partnerships and affiliations with other organisations and institutions.
- Develop strategic connections and leverage collaborations, particularly with other organisations.
- Maintain excellent external contacts that enhance the organization’s image and prominence.
- Back up the above with a well-thought-out information strategy and high-quality management information systems, such as self-evaluation.
Location
Kolkata / Work from home till situation improves.
Duration
The internship will be for a period of 2 months.
Perks
Stipend: Rs.5,000 /month
