HDFC ERGO General Insurance Company Limited is a 74:26 joint venture between HDFC Limited, India’s premier housing finance institution, and ERGO International AG, the primary insurance entity of Munich Re Group. In the retail arena, the firm offers a full range of general insurance products, including auto, health, travel, home, and personal injury, as well as tailored goods like property, marine, and liability insurance for businesses.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Working primarily in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Using the open source programme Google Sheets with the geotagging add-on, convert live entries from address to geotag.
- Working on the company’s accumulation database under supervision.
- Fixing RI buildup in the underwriting database.
Other Requirements
- Be able to work with large data sets.
- Excel spreadsheet proficiency.
- Knowledge of Google’s open source tools, such as Google Sheets, will be an added bonus.
- A basic grasp of general insurance is required.
- Should be able to communicate well in English and Hindi.
- Know how to read and interpret Excel work.
- Should be one level above basic in Excel.
- Good communication skills are required.
