Groww is a Bangalore-based online investment platform based in India. Groww helps investors to open an account and trade mutual funds and stocks over the internet. Groww had more than 10 million registered users on its website as of February 7, 2021. The company had raised $59 million in venture capital as of September 2020. Customers can use the app and its services for free, with direct mutual fund plans becoming available in April 2018. Groww offers information to mutual fund explorers such as past performance and stocks owned, as well as educational material on investing and mutual fund portfolios for different objectives and profiles.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Help carry out IT/IS and ITGC (IT General Controls) reviews for cloud infrastructure, third-party integrations, and core applications.
- Take part in risk assessments for fintech systems, including mobile apps, payment gateways, loan origination platforms, and APIs.
- Assess system resilience, change management, vulnerability management, data security, and access restrictions.
- Support documentation for working papers, audit procedures, walkthroughs, and evidence gathering.
- Assist in monitoring audit findings, verifying corrective action, and supporting senior stakeholder reporting.
- To evaluate technological controls, collaborate with the stakeholders from the Engineering, DevOps, InfoSec, and Compliance departments.
- Keep abreast of pertinent SEBI rules, CERT-In alerts, RBI technology guidelines, and data privacy frameworks.
- Help with the mapping of IT controls to cybersecurity frameworks defined by SEBI that apply to fintech companies that operate on regulated platforms, capital markets, or NBFCs.
