About the Apprenticeship
The Data Analytics Apprenticeship is actively bridging the gap between technical employment and education to create a pipeline for the next generation of Data Analysts across the industry. With this position, you’ll get experience with spreadsheets, SQL, Tableau, and R programming, as well as a working grasp of critical data analysis abilities. You’ll also learn how to use these abilities across the data lifecycle and how this relates to different business units dealing with data challenges.
Working with a team of Googlers to tackle real-world issues while growing and learning from world-class leaders will be a highlight of your time at Google. During the programme, you will be assisted by an external training partner.
As a Data Analytics apprentice at Google, we’ll teach you all you need to know to make an impact. You’ll be coached and educated in a variety of tools and strategies for distilling data into meaningful insights and making suggestions across various business units. Your effort will be recognised alongside that of other Googler project managers, and it will have a meaningful impact on people all across the world.
Eligibility
Minimum requirements:
- An associate’s degree or comparable work experience is required.
- Data Analytics experience of less than a year.
- Experience with productivity software such as spreadsheets, word processors, and other word processing programmes.
Qualifications that are preferred:
- Basic data analysis skills or a desire to work with statistics and trends.
- Problem-solving, analytical, and communication abilities have been demonstrated.
- Willingness to negotiate confusing tasks, identify acceptable answers, and seek assistance/advice when needed.
