Roles & Responsibilities
- Create a daily profit and loss statement for the trading center or company unit.
- Provide the required transparency of the controls carried out for final validation and control performance or for quality assurance.
- Obtain the required approval of the reported P&L from the traders in the front office.
- Fix the company’s daily FOBO cash breaks.
- Engage in the team’s and the domain-wide CTB (Change the Bank) efforts.
- Communicate with various support groups to escalate and resolve everyday problems.
- Work together with business relationship managers and financial controllers to make sure front-to-back controls are handled efficiently.
- Collaborate with many stakeholders to enhance current procedures and results.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in product control or financial services that is pertinent
- A degree in business or accounting is required for the T+1 role, while a degree in mathematics, engineering, or information technology is more relevant for the Flash role.
- A master’s degree and/or further pertinent coursework are advantageous for both.
- Increases understanding of the FTB process and control environment and technical expertise
- Strong stakeholder management abilities
- Strong communication abilities and fluency in both written and spoken English
- Team player with the ability to function in matrix organizations and virtual, international teams
- Competent to exchange information and impart knowledge and skills to team members, with an open mind
- Understanding of fixed income product pricing and valuation, including bonds, interest rates, and credit
