Roles & Responsibilities
Project 1: Cross Border payments
Cross-border payments use the SWIFT network to handle payments between banks worldwide. All banks are expected by SWIFT to adhere to the message structure and format that the organizations specify. As SWIFT plans to switch from a fixed length architecture to an XML-based layout, it has recently advanced to support additional message types.
To prevent message rejection at the gateway, message constructions must be automatically validated against the specification. Important tasks consist of:
Validation of the product to make sure the migrated messages follow the ISO standard
Automating CBPR process test cases
Recognize and encourage regression integration testing to ensure smooth communication with current systems following the move.
Project 2: System Usage Dashboard
The dashboard’s objectives are to analyze customer drop-offs, track GC adoption over the various stages (Inquiry, NSTP, and STP), and enhance the customer experience.
Important metrics consist of:
Adoption Metrics: Time to adoption, conversion rates, number of inquiries, and stage progression.
Determine where and why clients drop off using drop-off analysis.
Customer effort score (CES) and customer happiness are examples of customer experience metrics.
The dashboard ought to have
Pie charts for drop-off reasons, bar/line charts for adoption trends, and charts to monitor customer progression
Insights: Identify opportunities for improvement, compare client segments, and pinpoint process problems.
Project 3: Arculus Encryption Framework (AEF) Policy Dashboard
AEF is an internal data security solution that uses open-source software to some extent. AEF protects data on the ADA Analytics Platform using open-standard encryption techniques based on NIST. Security administrators can set up data encryption and data protection policies that are mapped to data attributes using the Policy Dashboard.
The following tasks are part of the project:
API development to automate test cases for the APIs and carry out the construction and administration of data protection policies
Recognize and assist with integration and regression testing.
Project 4: Big Data – Next Gen Analytics
Project Description: DBS Bank receives Big Data Analytics solutions from Consumer Banking & Customer Management (C2MA). The three-tier architecture of the Big Data Next Gen Analytics system is Tier 1 for data ingestion on lakes, Tier 2 for enterprise data domains, and Tier 3 for data marts and DaaS-APIs for interacting with external and web-based applications. In order to enable data engineers, business analysts, and ML-engineers to conduct state-of-the-art data analytics and create AI and ML models, C2MA aims to import data from all source systems worldwide (including banking systems in Singapore, India, Indonesia, Hong Kong, and Taiwan) onto a big data platform.
Business Goals:
Use Pyspark scripts for consumer banking, customer data analytics, campaign management, and data visualization on big data platforms while closely adhering to DBS data governance and security guidelines.
Install and run Pyspark scripts related to AI and ML models.
Give Qlikview and Qliksense, two downstream systems, aggregated or summarized data.
