About CRY – Child Rights & You
CRY (Child Rights and You) is an Indian non-governmental organisation (NGO) dedicated to ensuring that all children have happier childhoods.
Rippan Kapur, an Indian Airlines purser, founded CRY in 1979 with barely Rs. 50 and six friends. CRY now works with 102 grassroots NGOs in 19 Indian states and has influenced the lives of over three million children over the past four decades.
CRY works with parents, teachers, Anganwadi workers, communities, district and state governments, as well as the children themselves, to meet the critical needs of children. The group works on changing attitudes and practises at the grassroots level, as well as influencing public policy at the systemic level, in order to create an ecosystem in which children are the nation’s top priority.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Data mining of all companies in South India that are qualified for CSR.
- Prospecting for new clients through cold-calling and engaging with corporations.
- Locating potential CRM customers in the territory.
- Exchanging ideas on how to improve employee engagement.
Location
This is a Work from home internship opportunity.
Duration
The CRY – Child Rights & You Internship will be for a period of 3 months.
