About the Internship
We’re looking for interns with strong Statistics skills, ideally from a B.Tech or B.Sc. (Stats) background, who are available for a 6-month internship.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Execution of Analytic Projects – Manage and deliver various and complex analytic projects. This will necessitate a grasp of the market context as well as the translation of business problems into modelling.
- Always up to date on the new modelling community use cases, machine learning and deep learning algorithms, and information sharing within the team.
- Statistical mind set – Proficiency in basic statistics, hypothesis testing, segmentation and predictive modeling.
- Communication abilities – Ability to translate and articulate technical thoughts and ideas.
Skillsets Required/ Basic Qualifications
- Expertise in a variety of data languages, including Python, R, and Excel macros, as well as a working knowledge of SQL.
- Working knowledge of large and numerous databases, data centers, and the ability to pull data using appropriate programs and coding.
- Well versed with necessary data preprocessing and feature engineering skills.
- Good understanding of how to use machine learning algorithms like Random Forest and Gradient Boosting to solve problems like default classification and macro forecasting in the business world.
- Basic understanding of how to use deep learning strategies such as ANN.
- Exposure to deep learning packages like Tensorflow.
- Strong background in Statistical Analysis.
Duration
The internship will be for a period of 6 months.
