Responsibilities
- Run end-to-end contracting for a certain business line or any contracts that come your way, such as NDAs, service agreements, marketing agreements, and saas agreements.
- Review counterparty documents, find problems, and consult with the legal and business teams.
- Execute contract life cycle management in a coordinated manner.
- Conduct a thorough legal examination of the company’s T&Cs, policies, and template contracts, and make any required changes.
- Support secretarial and board-related duties, as well as regulatory filings and stakeholder management from the outside.
- Research intellectual property, information technology, data privacy laws, KYC regulations issued by regulators such as the RBI and SBI, and regulations applicable to payments and financial services and e-commerce companies in India that are relevant to the company’s business or prospective business.
Qualifications
- Have completed a five-year legal course in contract law, corporate law, or intellectual property law for at least 3.5 years.
- Can manage high-stress circumstances and thrive in a high-ownership, autonomous atmosphere.
- Multitasking and handling many tasks at the same time are two of your favourite things to do.
- In a fast-paced start-up atmosphere, you must be able to demonstrate curiosity and coaching abilities.
- Have past internships at legal firms or in-house roles under their belts.
- You must have a great sense of detail.
