About Bain & Company
Bain & Company, based in Boston, Massachusetts, is an American management consulting firm. Public, private, and non-profit entities are all served by the firm.
Bill Bain, former Group Vice President of Boston Consulting Group, and his colleagues, notably Patrick F. Graham, created Bain & Company in 1973. The company expanded fast in the late 1970s and early 1980s. In 1984, Bill Bain broke out his alternative investing firm, Bain Capital, and named Mitt Romney as its first CEO.
From 1987 to the early 1990s, Bain had multiple setbacks and financial difficulties. About the Internship
Intern will work as part of the BCN finance team, assisting the India finance team with process automation, procedural parts of the company, data analysis, and reporting to a variety of business stakeholders.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Extract pertinent financial reports and prepare data summaries to assist with data support and quantitative analysis.
- Using automatic tolls, assist in the prompt production of the dashboard.
- Assist in the tracking of business costs and trend analysis.
- For the team, use MS Excel to summarise various financial data.
- Analysis, invoicing, and documenting of cross-border transactions are among the day-to-day tasks.
Requirements
- MBA; Fresher CA; Fresher/Graduate/Final year student from a reputable Indian university.
- Ability to manage complicated data problems and good MS Excel skills.
- Interpersonal and written communication abilities are essential.
- Good organisational and mathematical abilities, as well as a problem-solving ability.
