Bill Bain, former Group Vice President of Boston Consulting Group, and his colleagues, notably Patrick F. Graham, created Bain & Company in 1973. The company expanded fast in the late 1970s and early 1980s. In 1984, Bill Bain broke out his alternative investing firm, Bain Capital, and named Mitt Romney as its first CEO.

About the Internship
Bain & Company’s Intern, Global Talent Acquisition, coordinates applicant logistics for allocated jobs. In addition, supports the Talent Acquisition team at every stage of the hiring process, including finding talent for a range of available jobs and conducting interviews with prospects.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in the recruitment of all Global Talent Acquisition jobs.
- Creates and maintains a network of possible applicants, as well as identifies talent via traditional and innovative methods.
- At every stage, creates an unforgettable experience for candidates, including managing all interview details and logistics.
- Provides suggestions and best practises for improving the efficacy and efficiency of the hiring and interviewing process.
- Using the application tracking system, keeps accurate records.
- Assigns other responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree and at least one year of sourcing/recruiting experience are required.
- Demonstrated ability to source active and passive candidates ahead of time.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presenting abilities, as well as meticulous attention to detail.
- A strong emphasis on the consumer and a sense of urgency.
- Working in a fast-paced atmosphere and managing competing demands is a must.
- Prior familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems is a plus. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
