About the Internship
- Create milestones and deliverables with your management and team.
- Participate in development teams’ daily scrums and reviews.
- Support with platform migrations and configuration, as well as the modification of internal tools or service level apps, and the debugging or troubleshooting of system issues.
- Writing code and unit tests, as well as integrating code with other software components
- Assist business and technical stakeholders in eliciting, analysing, communicating, and validating requirements for modifications to software applications or tools in order to best support changing business processes and policies.
- Use AWS S3, DynamoDB, EC2, and other Amazon engineering tools, procedures, and technologies.
Basic Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Data Structures, Algorithms, Problem Solving, and Coding are the main topics covered.
- Internships, academic projects, hackathons, and personal projects can all help you gain experience designing software applications.
- Ability to write clean code in any programming or scripting language for basic data structures problems and algorithms.
- At least one programming language, such as Java (recommended), C++, or C# (or) a scripting language, such as SQL, Perl, Python, XML, or Ruby is required.
- Using minimal guidance, be able to read and interpret complex code, debug and resolve application level issues (or) issues with internal tools.
- Design, testing, version control, documentation, build, deployment, and operations: ability to detect and adopt best practises in software engineering.
Preferred Qualifications
- Web Services and other Web Technologies, schedulers, workflows, state machines, multi-threading, and networking protocols are all ideas that should be familiarized with.
- Ability to come up with simple solutions without over-engineering. Exposure to AWS technologies such as AWS S3, DynamoDB, and others.
- Ability to take charge and get things done.
- Communication skills that are both verbal and written.
