About the Internship
Amazon is hiring intern finance analysts for various teams as Industrial Trainees. The chosen candidate or candidates will have the chance to collaborate closely with the leaders in business and finance to create and present financial analyses that aid in decision-making. This would present an opportunity to improve their financial acumen and sharpen their problem-solving abilities in the real world.
Roles & Responsibilities
The candidate will work with important stakeholders from several cross-functional teams as a member of the Operations Finance team.
The financial analysis that the intern analyst produces and delivers will assist the finance team in making the appropriate decisions and facilitating remedial actions.
Basic Qualifications
- 1+ years of experience in finance
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or accounts receivable
- 2+ years of experience using key financial performance indicators (KPIs) for analysis
- Familiarity with common applications, such as Excel, Access, Oracle, Essbase, SQL, and VBA
- Expertise influencing business decisions with data
- Expertise in corporate finance, including forecasting, reporting, and budgeting and planning
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience working with your team on continuous improvement projects to grow and enhance controllership with quantifiable results
- Knowledge of SQL, Data Warehouse, and TM1
