Bennett, Coleman and Company Limited, also known as The Times Group, is an Indian media conglomerate headquartered in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India with brands across publishing, television, internet, radio & outdoor domains. The Times of India, the company’s flagship brand, The Bombay Times and Journal of Commerce were first published as a bi-weekly, on November 3rd, 1838. Since then, it has steadily accelerated its expansion by expanding into new areas and publishing new titles.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Help with the onboarding procedures
- Assist with the orientation process for new recruits, which includes arranging orientation sessions, compiling documentation, and offering assistance to newly hired staff.
- Assist the HR team in keeping up with HR database updates and personnel records.
- Write reports and create emails as administrative support for the HR department.
- Assist with further HR initiatives and projects as required.
Duration
The Times Group internship is for a duration of 3 months.
