About the Internship
You will lead and deliver projects that improve the functionality and reporting provided by existing corporate reporting platforms as a Project Manager. You will be responsible for project delivery from start to finish, following the Project Life Cycle. Analyze business/operational processes, define business and operational needs, supervise technology build, manage user testing, and coordinate solution deployment with key business and technology partners. The Project Manager is responsible for giving detailed project updates to top management.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and deployment of the Strategic Operating Model by supporting particular workstreams within individual projects.
- To assist the creation of a strategic operating model, collaborate with sub-working groups or generate important project deliverables (data analysis to drive operational or organisational choices, process flows, RACI diagrams, communications).
- Assist important working groups in resolving significant programme challenges or preventing the program’s termination.
- In the design and execution of the global operating model for operations (roles/responsibilities, location strategy, control framework), collaborate with external operational leadership, functional SMEs, and key stakeholders consumers.
- To transition from the present state to the goal operating model, develop end-to-end change management strategies.
- Maintaining project plans, KPIs, risks, and issues on a daily basis, as well as developing and presenting project status reports / updates to the organisation and senior management on an as-needed basis.
- On other projects, provide project or business analysis help as needed (e.g. product on-boarding)
- Manage communication of status updates to stakeholders and Senior Management through scorecards.
- Analyze and record important business conversations and needs, manage deadlines, risks, issues, and dependencies, and monitor action items and other project-related documents.
Eligibility
- Project management experience of at least four years is required.
- Experience in finance, accounting, or risk management is a plus.
- Experience in project planning, business analysis, and implementation.
- Operational, process, or organisational design experience, as well as related change management tasks.
- Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail; capable of synthesising and summarising complicated facts or results to inform decision-making.
- Strong time management and organising abilities.
- Personal initiative, ownership, and accountability are all qualities that may be demonstrated.
- Interpersonal, relationship-building, and persuading abilities that work.
- Ability to communicate effectively (orally and in writing) and collaborate with key stakeholders to assist progress the project agenda.
- Working in a fast-paced, results-oriented workplace is a plus.
