About the Internship
KPMG India is offering internship opportunities for the following projects for a duration of 3 – 6 months:
1. India Infrastructure Market Intelligence
2. Modelling – Machine Learning
Project 1: India Infrastructure Market Intelligence
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in transportation engineering, civil engineering, or a similar discipline from a reputable college.
- It is preferable if you have some Python programming experience.
- Understanding of India’s road network (NH, SH, district roads), administrative regions (State, Districts, Sub-Districts – Tahsils/Talukas), and traffic patterns are all part of the role.
- Previous employment or internship experience with a transportation-related organisation (e.g. NHAI IHMCL) is preferred.
Project 2: Modelling – Machine Learning
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Statistics, or a similar discipline from a reputable college.
- Master’s degree or AI/ML certification from a reputable college/course is being pursued/completed.
- Strong Python programming skills, including data processing, modelling, and some familiarity with AI/ML models.
- Working knowledge of platforms such as DataBricks or AzureML.
- A working knowledge of R, Spark/Pyspark, and SQL is advantageous.
- The role entails data modelling (econometric and machine learning models) as well as data processing and analysis.
