Key Responsibilities
Working on basic development tasks with research scientists and other team members, you will train language models and develop projects for Neural Machine Translation (NMT), especially those involving Southeast Asian languages (Vietnamese, Malay, Bahasa, Thai, Filipino, etc.). You will also participate in research activities that are focused on publications, such as machine translation based on Large Language Models (LLM), the creation of synthetic data, and other newly developing areas of LLM research.
Must-Have Skills
- Excellent abilities in software development
- Knowledgeable about machine learning and deep learning frameworks, including Scikit-Learn, Pytorch, and HuggingFace Hub.
- Effective oral and written communication in English
- Decent knowledge on the state-of-the-art of NLP, NMT, LLM, and Generative AI
