About the Internship
You will gain extensive exposure to all facets of HR responsibilities within the luxury sector as an HR intern at GUCCI.
Roles & Responsibilities
Hiring and Selection
- Recruiting techniques to target passive candidates
- Reviewing prospective candidates’ applications
- Candidate phone screening
- Arranging for candidate interviews
- Calls to follow up and regrets with comments
Onboarding of Employees
- Enrolling new hires in the benefits offered by the business
- Monitoring the filing of new hire documentation
- Monitoring the inventory of the Onboarding kit
- Monthly updating of the Employee Master
Shop Coordination
- Issuing GUCCI ID cards
- Monitoring Uber reports on a monthly basis; Communicating with retailers regarding inconsistencies.
HR Operational Activities on a Daily Basis
- Getting ready and staying current Shop Facebook gifts and planning for holidays and birthdays
- Keeping the interns’ tracker updated and maintained
- Coordinating the establishment of accounts with bank representatives and new hires
Education and Training
- Supporting the onboarding of new workers
- Arranging participant travel
Workplace Engagement
- Helping to create the month’s engagement calendar
- Planning employee engagement initiatives
Requirements
- Prior HR internship experience, ideally in a retail or luxury setting; excellent attention to detail and a robust work ethic
- Self-starter with outstanding communication abilities both in writing and speaking
- Organized with an ability to multi-task
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel)
- HR master’s degree
