About Bata India
Bata is the most popular footwear brand in India. Bata India, a subsidiary of the Bata Shoe Organization, is India’s largest retailer and top footwear producer. Bata Shoe Company Private Limited was established as a modest enterprise in Konnagar (near Calcutta) in 1932, and was incorporated in 1931 as Bata Shoe Company Private Limited. The foundation stone for Bata’s first structure, currently known as the Bata, was laid in January 1934. The whole property was increased in size in the years that followed. Batanagar is the name given to this township. It was also the first plant in the Indian shoe business to earn ISO: 9001 accreditation.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Create a database of franchise partners for other businesses that are targeted, since these may be potential candidates to join our partnership.
- Conduct primary and secondary research
- Compile a list of companies that have several franchise locations with different partners
- After the above list has been filtered, begin making phone calls and in-person presentations to a likely group of individuals.
- Together, create a solid plan for pursuing franchise expansion for the following one to two years.
- Closely collaborate with each general manager to assist with lead allocation and lifecycle management within designated timeframes.
