Roles & Responsibilities
• Assist with collection and analysis of financial/qualitative data
• Analyze public companies and M&A transactions
• Conduct primary/secondary research on industries/ companies as directed by senior personnel
• Assist with building financial models
• Assist with valuation engagements using established methodologies-discounted cash flow, market multiple method etc.
• Assist with risk management/ engagement execution activities
• Assist with Business Development activities
Requirements
• Pursuing or having a Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or commerce from a reputed college/university
• Strong interest in valuation/finance/accounting
• Progress towards or interest in obtaining professional degrees/designations such as CFA/ MBA, etc.
• Good academic track record and strong work ethic
• An understanding of valuation, including cost of capital, DCF, and other valuation tools
• Attention to detail
• Self-motivated attitude and able to work with minimal supervision in a dynamic work environment
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Advanced skills set in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint; exposure to databases such as Bloomberg, Capitaline etc. is a plus
• Internship experience in valuations /corporate finance space is a plus but not required
